On your phone
Nothing can read the apps you use. What a phone can do is hand a post over, and that is one tap.
Most of it needs no phone at all
LinkedIn posts, X, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, forums, marketplaces and the maps are all read on our side, whether you are asleep or on a train. Nothing to install and nothing to remember.
Two places are different: a Facebook group you are a member of, and your own LinkedIn feed. Those show nothing to anyone who is not signed in, so they need a person, and that is what the browser helper and the phone are for.
Put it on your home screen
On Android, open Askhawk in Chrome, open the menu and choose Install. On an iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share and choose Add to Home Screen.
Either way it opens like any other app. On Android it also joins the share sheet the moment it is installed, which is what makes a post one tap away. An iPhone will not let a web page do that, so the sheet entry there comes with our App Store app, which is built and waiting on Apple.
- On Android, nothing to download from a store
- Opens straight on your leads
- Works on your own server too
Sharing a post
You are reading a group and somebody asks for exactly what you sell. Tap Share on the post, choose Askhawk, and a small screen opens with the link and whatever text came with it. Correct it if the app sent only a link, tap Add, and you are back where you were.
It is scored like anything else and it is in your leads in a moment. Nothing you share is filtered out: you chose it, so it counts.
What it does not do
It cannot read your apps, and it does not try. No app on a phone may read another: that is the phone's rule, not our choice, and the one way around it is a tool meant for people who cannot see the screen, which we will not misuse.
So nothing leaves your phone unless you share it. It has no account of its own, it never signs in as you, and it reads no message, no notification and no profile.
